Wedding Stone

This stone is a wedding present for ~danthalion's sister and at the same time a memorial stone for the wedding itself. The helmet in the pattern is the Helmet of Pukki-Lemminkäinen. In the Finnish mythology Lemminkäinen is the masculine sexual force and an idol figure for a husband who wants to become a father. The white bird with a green leafed branch in her beak is one of the symbols of Joutsen. In the Finnish mythology Joutsen is the feminine sexual force and an idol figure for a woman who wants to become a mother. This way we want to express our wishes of a good and fruitfull marriage and the continuity of the bloodline.
